The Lead Analyst directly assists the Manager, Analyst in daily client service activities, while functioning with limited direct supervision. The Lead Analyst serves as a mentor to Analysts and Senior Analysts, and reviews their work, providing guidance to enhance productivity and ensure they are operating at optimal utilization.
Duties and Responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team member experience.
  • Manages and monitors the group’s daily workflows to meet all internal and state mandated deadlines. 
  • Attends and potentially conducts internal or external training.
  • Mentors and trains staff on software platforms.

Client:

  • Prioritizes, delegates, and manages emergencies.
  • Keeps abreast of changing state statutes and takes action accordingly.

Value:

  • Understands and utilizes applicable software and OneSource Property Tax Systems.
  • Manages timely completion of tasks, using knowledge of tax deadlines. 
  • Formulates and implements new procedures to handle new, or changes in, filing or processing requirements. 
  • Reviews team time and expense reports for accuracy and completion. 
  • Assists with development and deployment of system enhancements. 
  • Keeps abreast of changing state statutes and takes action accordingly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required. 
  • Sustained proficiency in key performance indicators for the prior level required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
  • Three years of external property tax experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a working knowledge of Outlook, Basic Microsoft® Word, and Excel. 

Must also demonstrate a thorough understanding and working knowledge of applicable software and One Source Property Tax Systems. (preferred)    

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’s license required. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

There are no supervisory responsibilities. 

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm; interface with clients and external vendors as necessary.
