The LCV Specialist will support Ayvens Greece sales teams by providing commercial vehicle industry & market knowledge, advice and guidance. Moreover he / she will provide advice to clients and new business prospects at the vehicle qualification stage on vehicle specification and ancillary equipment to ensure best fit for purpose.
Through this role the candidate will liaise with the van manufacturers and importers, third party suppliers / vehicle converters to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of LCV maintenance budgets. Furthermore he/she will provide operational and in-life advice and recommendations to Ayvens Greece customers, particularly in the areas of selecting the appropriate commercial vehicles, according to legislation & compliance to optimize their vehicle utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the sales teams on winning van / light commercial vehicle business.
Provide current LCV market and industry information to support the Bid & Tender team for the top 20–25 new commercial vehicle customers and prospects.
Identify van fleet operators for the New Business team to target and prioritize.
Actively promote Ayvens LCV proposition and seek to increase take up of the Ayvens commercial vehicles products and services.
Attend meetings with prospects and existing customers to carry out needs assessments to recommend and advise on fit for purpose vehicles, specifications, legislation, and compliance.
Make recommendations on commercial vehicle makes and versions including 3rd party specialist suppliers of vehicle racking, lifts, cranes, refrigeration and vehicle livery.
Support colleagues in both the Implementation and Engage teams to ensure smooth transition and onboarding of CV clients
Provide input and content for CV Tender management.
Liaise with the commercial training team in order to organize relevant trainings to the sales and other teams.
Service quality: Maintain a high level of service focus, ensuring Ayvens Customer Service Style is adopted and always supported.
Achieve pre-determined customer satisfaction/loyalty objectives and adherence to relevant SLA’s.
Ensure accurate recording of all relevant information to Commercial CRM.
Keep abreast of commercial vehicle market conditions and specific industry and organizational changes & developments and regularly communicate this knowledge through the relevant areas of the business.
Plan, organize and execute training & awareness sessions to the commercial team and all relevant internal partners, aiming to increase product knowledge level.
Along with the product team, develop and maintain a process for regular production and analysis of key performance indicators relating to Ayvens van fleets.
Qualifications & Skills:
University degree in Business Administration or technical education.
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in B2B environment
Background in relevant commercial vehicles sales will be considered an asset.
The ideal individual should have robust knowledge of how sales and account management functions operate and interact with clients within complex sales and business environments.
Very good coaching and training skills.
Solid quantitative (numerical and problem solving) skills.
Basic knowledge of Finance and Cost controlling.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
An entrepreneurial mind-set with strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Able to take initiative and the confidence to take business solutions from concept stage to implementation.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to present options and recommendations to a Board level audience.
Able to communicate persuasively across a range of different stakeholders.

IT literacy and ability to adapt in a complex IT ecosystem.
Motivated individual with a strong track record of delivery.
Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
