The role
An exciting opportunity to join Canberra's pre-eminent Projects (Real Estate) working with Partners Alfonso del Rio, Adam Peppinck & Ed Campbell in Canberra's leading and largest real estate advisory team with unmatched scale and expertise.
You will work for both public and private sector clients on a wide range of real estate, planning and environmental and construction law matters involving:
- Acquisitions and disposals of going concerns and vacant land including strategies, portfolio rationalisation, due diligence advice and reports, site consolidation, subdivision and land management, planning and structuring.
- Leasing (retail, commercial and industrial) covering transaction strategies and routine and complex documentation. This may involve advising on complex negotiations of leases and related transaction documents such as AFLs, fitout and incentive deeds, subleases, licences and on issues such as rent reviews, first rights or refusal, options, expansion and contraction rights and other lease management issues.
- Property development and conveyancing advice including risk analysis, project structuring, joint ventures and syndicates, mixed-use developments including stratum and community title schemes. This may involve assisting the team with stamp duty, planning, environmental and construction advice.
- Retirement village advice and transactions. We are the clear market leader in legal services for the RV industry in Canberra. Our services include acquisition and disposal of operating villages, establishing villages (including acquisition of sites, establishing operator arrangements and village contracts), regulatory and compliance advice and retirement village conveyancing.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
