The Law Logistics and Operations Coordinator provides key administrative and operational support for all functional areas within Logistics and Journal Administration at Georgetown University’s Law Campus. The Law Logistics and Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Senior Director of Logistics to meet the organizational and operational needs of the Law Logistics team together with providing support and handling special administrative projects for Law Campus buildings including faculty office relocations, refurbishments and renovations. This position provides daily on-site coordination and administrative support for the Senior Director of Logistics and on special projects throughout the year. This role provides extensive administrative support to the Senior Director to manage and track departmental initiatives, acting as a scheduler, liaison, and project manager and serves to assist the Logistics Director to develop an integration/expansion plan in support of the overall Law Campus.
Work Interactions
This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Logistics for the Law Campus who reports to COO Law. The position coordinates and works with various teams on Law Campus/Hilltop to ensure efficient and effective use of available resources under supervision of the Senior Director and serves as a liaison to property management across the University (with particular responsibility for the centers and organizations housed at 500 1st Street) and works closely with the Facilities team and is also responsible for providing all ongoing required support to meet the organizational and operational needs of the Law logistics team as they arise together with ongoing special administrative projects such as key control and inventory for Law Campus buildings and in particular 500 1st Street digitalizing office key agreements, dealing with subscription deposits for Journal publications, liaison with Main Campus Revenue & Receivables, and all support to Law Journals OJA, and Mail and Copy teams as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required
Minimum of 5-10 plus years office experience
Ability to work cooperatively and strategically in a team environment with all levels of professional, technical and administrative staff, and to integrate resources on a timely and organized basis
Highly collaborative working style
Careful judgment and discretion with respect to strategic, confidential, and sensitive material
Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to balance multiple priorities, strong communications and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Familiar with all Georgetown processes and software including: knowledge of Workday, MS Office Suite, Google-Suite, Adobe and AI usage.
Procurement expertise
Established skills in planning for and managing multiple, diverse, and organizational needs
Familiarity with Law Campus buildings footprint as well as Hilltop Campus
Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills and managerial ability
Ability to interact and work strategically and collaboratively across functions, teams, levels and departments towards shared goals
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Reliable , prompt and readily available to assist
Georgetown service mission focused
Can lift up to 10lbs. and is comfortable with non sedentary aspects of the job which involves walking and standing outside buildings whilst supervising deliveries and installations etc.

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
