Principal Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing functions associated with optical laser products
• Performs testing and troubleshooting of complex systems, subassemblies and printed circuit boards
• Test, operate, repair, and maintain lasers products that use or incorporate lasers
• Install and align optical parts, such as mirrors and lenses
• Utilize oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry
• Assemble, install and align electronic components
• Set-up electronic and optical instruments to test laser device
• Responsible for review of assembly layout, blueprints, and sketches, analyze test data, and prepare technical reports for engineers
Required Skills:
• Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required
• 0 - 1 year of related experience required
• Requires experience in testing digital and/or analog systems
• Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
