As Global Product Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of the print ecosystem for print service providers. We want to onboard a smart and energetic self-starter who is passionate about understanding customer pain points, market dynamics, and creating compelling content to ensure market success.
In collaboration with other Product Managers in the team, R&D and Go-To-Market teams you will have a central role in learning, defining and launching the future products of HP Large Format Printing business.
Responsibilities
This person will be responsible of assessing opportunities in large-format printer markets to develop. To assess opportunities, you will perform market opportunity sizing, understand the competitive environment, the needs and wants of target customers and define the solution that is able to meet business and customer needs in coordination with the development team. Once these solutions are in development phase, the global Product Manager will define the pricing strategy, forecasting and coordinate with the marketing department and category teams to complete messaging for the product or solution and perform internal activities to get the product or solution to market.
Generate market insights and coordinate the collection of insights from target segments to be applied in solution design
Apply insights into target segments to create differentiated value propositions/solutions globally
Drive the definition of specific future HP large format printers through R&D and solutions teams. Translate value propositions into relevant solution components.
Regularly meet with customers or channel partners during the development process
Develop or coordinate product management and marketing deliverables required for each product development checkpoint and for product introduction
Requirements
Master’s degree in business administration, marketing or engineering
Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking and leadership skills
Demonstrated innovation and creativity skills
Excellent communication skills
Collaboration skills and team player.
Experience in product lifecycle management
Problem-solving aptitude
Team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills
Valued experience in product management
Valued experience in customer insights gathering
Desired knowledge of product/solution family, business needs or go-to-market motion for Large Format printers
