Landscape Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Laborer to support the upkeep and appearance of our convenience store (C‑Store) properties in Southern Maine. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and attractive outdoor areas, including landscaping, groundskeeping, and general exterior maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor work, can perform physical labor, and takes pride in maintaining high‑traffic retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and weeding
• Maintain store grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Remove debris, litter, snow, or ice as needed
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects such as planting, pruning, and leaf removal
• Operate basic landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently
• Identify and report safety hazards or needed repairs to management
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• Travel between multiple C‑Store locations as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • An MVR check (driving between sites and operating a registered company vehicles)
