In this role, you will provide Lands & Right-of-Way (ROW) services to regional pipeline and facility operations staff. You will coordinate all Lands & ROW matters, including pipeline rights-of-way, the Designated Gas Storage Area, and emerging projects such as renewable energy initiatives which includes negotiations and settlement with landowners/public agencies.

What you will do:

  • Provide Lands & Right-of-Way (ROW) support and advisor services to regional pipeline and facility operations personnel

  • Act as the primary contact for Landowners on or near Enbridge Designated Storage Areas, pipeline easements and facilities building strong collaborative relationships and resolving landowner concerns and inquiries

  • Responsible for landowner notification and agreements for all regional operations activity, approval, and special conditions for activities conducted on private or Crown/Public lands

  • Lead all Lands & ROW activities for gas storage, transmission, and liquids pipelines, driving negotiations with landowners and agencies while partnering across teams to deliver operational success.
     

Who you are:

  • Related university degree or diploma.

  • Four or more years of related experience in land and right-of-way work or other land related areas.

  • Expertise in influencing and negotiating in critical situations.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and proficient in English, both verbal and written. Ability to convey facts and information clearly.

  • The ability to work independently.

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and a team-oriented attitude.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with oil and gas pipelines and regulations is an asset.

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office based.

  • At least 50% of the time travelling to meet with various partners and visit field locations.

  • Some travel associated with field training, site visit to regional operations offices
