What you’ll do
⦿ Production & Fabrication: Perform a wide range of manual and mechanical tasks using hand tools such as drills, saws, hot knives, rollers, stitchers, and hand knives. Read and interpret basic drawings or work instructions, measure materials accurately, and assist with rubber stripping and loading/unloading ovens/autoclaves. Success means delivering precise fabrication work with high quality daily.
⦿ Surface Preparation & Finishing: Support sand blasting and painting operations by preparing parts, cleaning blasted parts, and applying primers and adhesives safely. Daily activities include working closely with operators to maintain workflow and quality standards.
⦿ Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and move parts, materials, and equipment to support production flow. The role requires flexibility to assist across departments as needed.
⦿ Quality & Safety: Maintain a strong focus on product quality and cosmetic finish, follow all instructions accurately, and uphold strict safety guidelines including chemical handling and respirator use. Success is demonstrated by zero safety incidents and consistent quality output.
⦿ Flexibility & Team Support: Provide assistance wherever needed across shipping, stripping, maintenance, cleaning, priming, and other shop areas. Be available for overtime and weekend shifts as required.
⦿ Travel Requirements: This role is onsite with no travel expected.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
⦿ Experience working with hand tools and mechanical tasks
⦿ Strong safety-driven mindset and commitment to safe work practices
⦿ Ability to read basic drawings and use measuring equipment accurately
⦿ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-haves:
⦿ Forklift operation experience
⦿ Experience in rubber fabrication, steel fabrication, or related trades
⦿ Background in construction, auto body repair, or cabinet making
⦿ Good organizational and time-management skills

Compensation: $21/hr
This is a 6 month temporary contract and requires successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
