What you will accomplish together with us:
Coordination and execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities for equipment, instrumentation and laboratory space supporting the Confidence® Virus Clearance team
Preventive maintenance and calibration activities for department-relevant equipment, including support to the 200 Donald Lynch Blvd Facilities Manager for general building-related tasks
Oversight of faulty equipment repairs, including communication with relevant stakeholders and escalation when repairs are not possible or financially viable
Management of material inventory, including ordering, receipt checks, documentation review (e.g., Certificates of Analysis), stock level control and identification of alternative materials when supply constraints occur
Close collaboration with internal teams, external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless facility operations
Organization of shipment logistics for materials, equipment or samples to external testing partners, Sponsors or repair service providers
GLP-compliant documentation of activities including maintenance, calibration, repairs and material handling via paper-based or electronic systems
Support of the Environmental Monitoring System with responsibility for temperature excursion actions and problem resolution
Adherence to EHS guidelines with a focus on safe equipment movement, handling of heavy loads and maintenance of a safe laboratory environment
Drafting and reviewing SOPs related to facility operations and maintenance
What will convince us:
Associate’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a laboratory environment; hands-on facility maintenance experience and familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., GLP) are advantageous
Practical knowledge in equipment maintenance, calibration coordination and inventory control
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
High level of organization and reliability in managing parallel tasks and priorities
Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to act quickly in operationally critical situations

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $29 - $39 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications.
