Job Description

Purpose:

The Laboratory Coordinator I will be responsible for maintenance of Ocean Engineering Lab spaces to include ensuring all equipment is safe for use. Maintain records of all lab and equipment related actions and prepare labs for certification by ABET.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains OCEAN lab spaces and and safety of all equipment.

  • Maintains paperwork related to all lab and lab equipment maintenance and repairs.

  • Applies standards and participate in ABET certification process.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What We Need:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • One year of related experience

What is Helpful:

  • Laboratory maintenance experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply standards and participate in ABET certification process.

  • Main Campus – College Station, TX.

About the Department of Ocean Engineering
