Department Details

Schedule:
8-hour day shift 6:00am-2:30pm
Every 3rd weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory specimens and related supplies in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of laboratory data
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall laboratory operations
Ideal Candidate:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and established protocols
Reliable, professional, and committed to quality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Laboratory Assistant = No certification or previous experience required ($16.00-25.50)
Senior Laboratory Assistant = Requires active phlebotomy certification ($17.00-26.50)
Pathology Technician = Bachelor's degree required in biology or related subject ($23.50-36.00)

Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.

Job Description

Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.



Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
