Pay Range

Major Responsibilities
- Enterprise Labor Capability Strategy – Design and sustain an integrated labor education and competency framework embedded within the organization’s leadership development and readiness programs.
- Leader Capability & Readiness – Develop and implement role-based labor relations training for leaders at all levels, focused on prevention, engagement, and confident response in union-sensitive environments.
- Teammate Education Programs – Design proactive education tools that explain labor relations, the organization’s union philosophy, and internal avenues to raise and resolve concerns.
- Predictive Labor Analytics & Intelligence – Develop and manage enterprise dashboards, predictive tools, and labor metrics that identify risk, surface emerging patterns, assess leader readiness, measure program impact, and validate labor risk indicators for timely intervention.
- Internal Risk Signal Integration – Integrate internal indicators such as engagement data, turnover trends, grievances, and teammate relations cases into clear, actionable labor risk insights.
- External Labor Intelligence & Trend Monitoring – Gather and analyze external labor data and market trends to identify emerging risks and share relevant insights with senior area and divisional leaders.
- Labor Communications & Change Enablement – Develop clear, practical labor tools, and campaign materials that simplify complex labor topics into messages easily understood by teammates in partnership with Internal Communications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Learning & Development, HR Analytics, IT, Legal, and Operations to ensure consistency, data integrity, and scalability of tools and insights.
- Consultant & Vendor Engagement – Own relationships with external consultants and partners, overseeing joint projects to develop labor relations tools, analytics, and communications, and ensuring deliverables align with enterprise labor capability needs.
- Ethics & Compliance – Ensure labor education and analytics tools are developed and used in accordance with the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct, applicable labor laws, and internal standards.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Certification / Registration / License
None specified.
Experience
10+ years of experience in human resources, workforce analytics, employee/labor relations, with at least 5+ years of experience leading a team.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- In-depth understanding of labor relations and positive employee relations.
- Familiarity with employment law, NLRA requirements, and organizational policies.
- Knowledge of risk identification and analytics related to labor relations.
- Strong analytical acumen, including the ability to evaluate the effectiveness and reliability of indicators and predictive insights.
- Proficiency in developing training programs for leaders and education programs for teammates.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in developing clear, practical labor communications, tools, and materials with rapid turnaround.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and develop a team of labor relations professionals.
- Ability to ensure adherence to ethical and compliance standards.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time across all divisions.
Preferred Job Requirements
Education
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, or related field preferred.
Experience
Experience in healthcare or similarly complex, regulated industries strongly preferred.
Experience leading teams in large, multi-site organizations.
