Job Description
 

INTERN – Lab Tech II

Knowledge:

  • This position requires strong adherence to regulatory compliance and safety requirements, involving cGMPs, SOPs, cGLPs, and other related documents such as Batch Records and Log Books.

  • Strong communication skills required and must be able to work effectively on teams. Must have a familiarity with computer operation, comfortable with screen, keyboard entry.

Specific Education & Experience Requirements:
4+ years of relevant experience and a High School diploma


Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the lab areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitized state.

  • Performs a wide variety of routine laboratory duties.

  • Makes and records observations and performs simple calculations.

  • May use personal computer to perform technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.

  • May collect specimens.

  • May perform chemical processing duties as it applies to supporting drug development in a multipurpose Pilot Plant.
