The Customer Service Representative-Lab responds to Lab Customer Service Call Center inquiries from patients, medical personnel, Reference Laboratories and Outreach accounts. This individual triages calls to appropriate personnel when needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: None
Preferred/Optional: Successful completion of a post-secondary medical terminology course.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience working with databases.
Preferred/Optional: One year experience with Customer Service. Demonstrated experience utilizing problem solving techniques.
