The benefits team is a part of the Global Total Rewards function within HR and is necessary in supporting the attraction, motivation, and retention of company talents. You will support strategic development of our benefit programs including retirement plans, life and disability insurance, medical insurance, flexible benefits, and wellbeing programs. Your main role will consist of:

  • Engage employees through regular communications and keep employees informed about company benefit plans and any proposed changes.
  • Review programs are legally compliant and competitive with regards to trends, practices and costs.
  • Negotiate coverage, services and costs with carriers and vendors. Sourcing for and managing vendor relationships.

What you will do:

  • Support department leadership and shared service teams as subject matter expert in Latin American benefits.
  • Ensure thorough familiarity with company procedures. Apply procedures in compliance with government laws.
  • Lead the strategic development of benefits, retirement, and wellbeing strategy in Latin America.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, consultants, and other teams to ensure that all plans are compliant with regulations and company policies.
  • Lead implementation and project manage implementation of new programs and plan design changes.
  • Analyze program use, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of existing programs.
  • Help develop all benefits, retirement, and wellbeing communications.
  • Support benefits processes such as renewal, survey participation, and second tier benefits query escalation.
  • Help create business cases for benefits implementation in the Latin American region (market benchmark, research of legal requirements, cost estimations) Following the our goals
  • Provide customer service to relevant partners (e.g. employees, internal partners, external vendors)

Modality: Hybrid

You will report to Benefits Manager Global Service and Delivery and Latin America

This is an individual contributor role

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Written and oral English communications skills, Portuguese is a Plus
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Benefits position
  • Experience working in Multicultural groups.
  • Good capability in managing dynamic and matrix relations with different partners.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Team orientation and ability to collaborate with other HR members.
  • Good organization, influencing, flexibility, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel & PowerPoint), Workday user is a bonus
