Job Profile Summary 

A career in Learning and Development, within Internal firm services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by assisting with coordinating quality learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, target the appropriate participants, and coordinate the various resources to ensure seamless, quality learning solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our training initiatives support the PwC strategy. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and requires a proactive approach to managing training and event logistics. 

Job Description 

Training support: 

  • Provide support for Western Cape Assurance training by organising and managing all administrative related training activities. 
  • E-Learning targeting, monitoring completion and non-compliance / remedial actions. 
  • External events & conferences: IFRS client training events, provide administrative support 
  • Coordinate with the Facilities team relating to training room management: 
  • Diary bookings for internal and external events 
  • Meeting room and training room bookings  
  • Room setup requirements 

Event / Session Management: 

  • Coordinate participant targeting, bookings, and communication with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Responsible for catering and logistical needs for training events. 
  • Prepare all necessary training materials. 
  • Arrange bookings and payments for flights, accommodation and car hire. 
  • Coordinate with the Facilities team for optimal room setup and logistics for training events. 
  • Maintain accurate attendance records, including non-attendance and necessary remediation actions. 
  • Extracting evaluation reports following events. 

Stakeholder Assistance: 

  • Assist with ad hoc queries from the practice regarding learning records, attendance, and targets. 
  • Address queries concerning Growth Centre activities specific to the Western Cape region. 

Western Cape Risk & Quality 

  • Provide administrative support to the Western Cape risk and quality Partner and team. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills. 
  • Experience with event planning and coordination. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. 
  • Embrace digital initiatives and transformation within the training space.
