About The Team

The Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre supports Indigenous students at Murdoch University by providing access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The Centre also implements recruitment and retention strategies to improve educational outcomes for Indigenous communities.
 

Your New Role!  

The Kulbardi Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining alumni and corporate relationships to strengthen partnerships with the Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre. They also support alumni events and coordinate fundraising and advancement initiatives for the Centre.
 

Your key responsibilities will include –

  • Develop and implement engagement strategies with the Manager to support First Nations students’ workforce readiness, including networking and relationship-building opportunities
  • Establish and manage external partnerships based on reciprocity and trust, creating standards and protocols for collaboration, and coordinating alumni events, sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives
  • Contribute to team and administrative activities by actively participating in meetings, events, and projects, and assisting with miscellaneous tasks to foster a supportive and safe culture

This Continuous | Part time (15 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $89,396.00– $96,594.00(pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Undergraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in alumni engagement, fundraising, or industry engagement
  • Event management expertise, including planning, organising, and facilitating formal and informal events
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, staff, and stakeholders
  • Proven organisational and problem-solving ability, including initiative, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to produce clear, publishable materials and a demonstrated commitment to equity and social justice principles
