Key Responsibilities:

KBR seeks a Knowledge Manager to support the CAPE Joint Data Support (JDS) Division. CAPE JDS is a multi-source funded and OSD CAPE managed organization responsible for identifying, collecting, developing, analyzing, managing, and disseminating historical, current, and future years U.S. and Non-U.S. forces inventory, capabilities, and deployment data (including planning, programming, and acquisition data) supporting collaborative study teams guided by the Analysis Working Group (AWG). JDS develops standardized data products and analytic tools to support Joint analytic efforts focused on Senior Leader decision support. Additionally, JDS supports AWG led SCI/SAP/SAR studies and analyses.

The Knowledge Manager, will be responsible for providing analytical and specialized support to relieve, assist, and, in delegated matters, act on behalf of senior and executive management. Acts as primary liaison with administration and various support functions. Responsible for coordinating the implementation of procedures and programs pertaining to these administrative specialties. Prioritizes and carries out special projects and complex assignments. Exercises frequent judgment, initiative, diplomacy and tact and ensures the confidentiality of all matters. Makes administrative decisions and takes action on behalf of the officer/executive based on knowledge of the organization, policies and personnel. Performs a broad range of administrative tasks for senior executive level management. Exercises judgment, initiative and tact, makes administrative decisions and takes action on behalf of the executive based on knowledge of the organization, policies and personnel. Directs established guidelines, procedures and policies. Administers policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%

  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance to be considered for the position

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Eight (8) years of knowledge/content management

  • Eight (8) years of experience administrative experience in at least two (2) of the following areas:

  • Administrative Support: Expertise in executive customer service, administrative support, scheduling, project management, relationship building, and communication.  

  • Content Management: Expertise in content creation/curation, strategic writing/communication, copy writing, marketing, and DoW access control.  

  • Knowledge Management: Expertise in change management, data analysis/management, large-scale content curation/management, and DOD business/content processes. Additionally, candidate must have demonstrated expertise in SQL.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
