Knowledge Manager

GDIT has an exciting opportunity to support the Security Assistance Group – Ukraine (SAG-U) as a member of our Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services (EMITS) program supporting U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s (USAREUR-AF) mission in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The Knowledge Manager supports enterprise and mission IT operations within the J6 Plans Division (J65) by maintaining internal reporting tools, collaboration portals, and communications systems that enhance situational awareness and mission alignment. This role supports the capture and distribution of information and facilitates effective decision-making through curated dashboards and standardized communication products.

As a Knowledge Manager at GDIT, you will directly support senior leaders, project teams, and mission stakeholders by ensuring consistent and actionable knowledge sharing. Your products will enhance transparency, productivity, and alignment across a dynamic mission environment.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Design and manage dashboards, reports, newsletters, and portals using platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Coordinate with technical leads and PMs to publish accurate, timely updates across recurring reports and communication platforms
  • Maintain internal content repositories and ensure the accuracy and relevance of posted information
  • Create user-friendly visualizations to support project tracking, lifecycle management, or executive decision-making
  • Support lessons learned capture, archiving of deliverables, and transition of knowledge between rotations or teams
  • Develop SOPs and templates that streamline the communication of project status, operational metrics, or meeting outcomes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience, Associate’s with 4 years, or Bachelor’s with 2 years in communications, data analytics, or IT knowledge management
  • Experience: 3+ years supporting reporting, dashboard development, or internal knowledge platforms in a DoD or enterprise setting
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, and other dashboarding or reporting tools; Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and structured file-sharing/taxonomy models; Basic understanding of IT project and operations concepts to contextualize reporting
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
  • ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to synthesize technical and project updates into user-friendly formats; Strong writing and presentation skills;       Organizational mindset with attention to process consistency and template development; Familiarity with internal communications practices or knowledge transfer processes
  • CERTIFICATIONS: Required: IAT Level II (e.g. Security+ CE); Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform certifications, KM certifications, or ITIL Foundation
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience supporting Army or coalition operations centers or reporting cycles; Ability to work with cross-functional technical and project teams; Familiarity with theater-level operations and reporting requirements

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
