The Workday Legal team is at the forefront of innovation, and we are seeking a dynamic Knowledge Management Specialist to join our Legal Technology & AI function. This role is pivotal in shaping how our global legal team creates, shares, and leverages its collective expertise. You will be responsible for the architecture and daily management of our knowledge ecosystem. Organize & Curate Knowledge: Develop and maintain a centralized, intuitive knowledge base for the Legal team. This includes organizing playbooks, templates, training materials, and other digital collateral to ensure they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
Drive Content Strategy: Collaborate with legal professionals to identify knowledge gaps and drive the creation of new, high-value content. You will be instrumental in transforming tacit knowledge into explicit, reusable assets.
Facilitate SME Governance: Provide collective governance for our network of subject matter experts, establishing processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability in our knowledge contributions.
Manage Digital Platforms: Take ownership of our web-based knowledge platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for the entire legal department.
Support Departmental Communications: Act as a key contributor to our communication efforts by assisting in the drafting, editing, and dissemination of internal newsletters, team updates, and key announcements.
Pioneer AI in Knowledge Management: Champion the adoption of AI-driven knowledge tools. You will work closely with the Director of Legal Technology & AI to identify, test, and implement solutions that enhance search, automate content tagging, and provide intelligent insights from our data.
Analyze & Improve: Monitor usage analytics to understand how our team members interact with knowledge resources, and use this data to recommend and implement continuous improvements.
About You
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in knowledge management, legal operations, paralegal studies, library science, or a related field.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within a corporate legal department or law firm.
Exceptional Organizational Skills: A natural ability to structure information logically and a meticulous attention to detail.
Tech-Forward Mindset: A strong, demonstrated interest in technology, particularly in AI, machine learning concepts, and data management. You are curious and excited about how technology can transform the way we work.
Excellent Communication: The ability to write clearly and concisely and to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, from attorneys to technical teams.
Proactive & Self-Directed: You can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to solve problems.
Hands-on experience with content management systems, Google Productivity Suite, Gemini, LumApps.
