The Kitchen Assistant supports the smooth operation of the dining hall by assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals for ILC staff and students, as well as general kitchen tasks. This role ensures a clean, organized, and efficient environment to provide excellent service to guests.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in front-line meal preparation and serving of food and beverages.
Organize and maintain kitchen supplies, including stock of take-out containers and other essentials.
Operate the register as needed and assist with customer transactions.
Help maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and dining areas.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Hall Manager.
Qualifications / Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
Ability to lift and carry supplies as needed.
