Your first months:
- In your first 2 weeks: get to know your new team and get more context around what you will be doing at SITS | Traxion.
- In the next 4 months: Get brought up-to-speed with the IAM world, get hands-on training for both hard skills and soft skills that are necessary to become successful in this field. Obtain the necessary certificates for your respective field and gain insight into your personal communication preferences and underlying drives in order to build on your development plan. Form a collaborative, supportive environment with the other kickstarters. At the same time, get situated and start developing within your team and start a deep dive into your new specialism.
- The next couple of months: Gain hands-on experience working at & with clients. Together with your buddy and the support of your colleagues you will rocket into becoming a specialist.
- After that: You are fully imbedded into your team and further develop yourself as a specialist within your field. Your professional goals act as a guideline for the steps in your development to ensure you can keep working towards your ambitions.
What you'll do as a Junior IAM software Engineer
- Understand & Analyse: Learn to break down customer requirements, incidents, and problems, helping the team design solutions that meet real-world needs.
- Build & Support IAM Systems: Assist in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining secure Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems, while learning how they integrate with client environments.
- Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with your team each day to complete tasks, contribute to key features, and tackle technical challenges in a supportive sprint environment.
- Test & Validate: Help validate developments, support testing, and assist with deployments to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and high-quality.
- Share Insights: Contribute ideas and feedback with cross-functional teams to help improve processes, solutions, and outcomes.
- Identify & Solve Issues: Support the identification and resolution of potential IAM or security issues, learning to prevent disruptions and enhance system performance.
- Collaborate: with client teams (IT, HR, CISO) and internal colleagues (Sales, Technical Consultants, IT Operations).

- Fixed-term contract as part of our Kickstarter program, with intent for permanent contract.
- Position for 40 hours/week (32 hours can be discussed).
- Hybrid working options: 3–4 days/week at our Waardenburg office or client site and 1-2 days in the home office.
- A starting salary depending on your level of education: €3350 gross (for university graduates, WO) or €3150 gross (for graduates of a university of applied sciences, HBO)

What you'll bring to the team
- Experience: You’re at the start of your IAM career, ideally with some exposure to IT/security topics or consultancy. Experience with writing and presenting reports is a plus.
- Skills: Proactive, communicative, curious, and culturally sensitive. You’re not afraid to ask questions or approach new people. Knowledge and / or interest in IT. Knowledge on information security is helpful.
- Languages: Fluent proficiency in Dutch and Business proficient in English.
- Education/Certifications: HBO or WO bachelor or master with an IT and/or security component. Any relevant certification related to IT tooling, ITSM and / or project management is helpful.
