Job Summary
Gordon Marketing is seeking a high-caliber Key Account Relationship Manager to serve as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact for our most significant agency partnerships. This role is designed for a consultative sales leader who can navigate the complexities of Medicare, ACA, and Life/Annuity markets to drive retention and exponential revenue growth.Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
• Relationship Stewardship: Serve as the dedicated advisor and lead liaison for high-revenue Gordon Marketing affiliates, ensuring a "white-glove" service experience.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance across the product portfolio, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, Ancillary Products, ACA, Annuities, and Life Insurance.
• Growth & Recruitment: Actively assist key accounts in agent recruitment strategies, sales coaching, and localized marketing efforts to expand their market share.
• Carrier Liaison: Manage high-level carrier relationships to facilitate smooth operations and advocate for the needs of your assigned key accounts.
• Training Excellence: Design and deliver high-impact training sessions (virtual and in-person) for agency principals and their downline agents.
• Internal Collaboration: Partner with the administrative and operations teams to ensure seamless back-office support and timely issue resolution.
• Executive Reporting: Maintain a rigorous cadence of reporting to Executive Management, focusing on relationship health, sales metrics, and net revenue forecasting.
Specialized Focus: ACA & Under-65 (U65) Market
• Market Leadership: Spearhead the recruitment and training of agents specifically within the ACA/U65 space.
• Product Ecosystem: Stay ahead of market shifts to advise Executive Management on performance trends and competitive positioning.
• Team Leadership: Manage key internal team members dedicated to the ACA/U65 support structure to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
• Consultative Sales Mastery: Proven ability to identify client pain points and engineer differentiated, achievable solutions.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; must be comfortable commanding a room of agency principals.
• Competitive Intelligence: Deep understanding of how to position Gordon Marketing’s suite of products against industry competitors.
• Operational Mindset: Knowledge of how to leverage sales data and CRM tools to drive performance.
Education & Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of proven success in a senior sales or marketing leadership role (e.g., Sales Manager, Marketing Director) within the insurance or financial services industry.
Reporting Structure
• Direct Report: This position reports directly to the Director of Sales, Mike Gattorna.
