The successful candidate will be required to manage the existing business across their assigned key accounts with UN, EU and named global accounts as well as developing new opportunities. This will require significant travel to customer locations across Middle East, Africa as well as European Headquarters. English language is essential.
In this role you will:
Formulate a winning sales strategy.
Identify, qualify and close leads and sales opportunities within the assigned scope
Drive the sales engagements with all vertical prospects and current customer base within the assigned territory to execute the plan.
Be accountable for an annual sales plan and able to articulate your current status and ability to execute to a stretch goal.
Grow the install base of key existing accounts within the assigned territory.
Maintain an accurate weekly forecast of all sales activity within the pipeline.
Develop and maintain the relationships at multiple levels within all accounts assigned.
Be responsible for ensuring that customer communication is at all times, clear concise and in-line with company direction.
Sales activity requires full coordination with our Pre-Sales Technical Architecture (TA) Post Sales and supporting teams. The ability to work as part of a wider team is essential.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position (sales and / or sales management or business development) within the IT, telecommunications, security technology sector or similar
A good overall technical understanding of the products and solutions within the Motorola Solutions portfolio
Business professional English proficiency is required
Experience of developing customer base
A proven track record in overachieving quotas. Ability to work for under pressure and coordinate multiple customers at the same time
Negotiation Skills across different level of customers organization
Ability to prospect and quickly qualify the new sales opportunities.
Effective time-management. Able to plan and organize the sales and sales back office staff.
Communication Skills (verbal, written) and presentation skills so s/he transmits with impact.
Deep understanding of key business metrics with channels and their effect in vendor performance (revenues, returns, inventory…)
Willingness to travel to conflict and post conflict environments is essential
Prior experience of working with government / international organizations is advantageous
Proficiency with computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
