The Clinical Liaison Key Account Manager (CL-KAM) serves as Sanofi's clinical champion for Sarclisa growth across Ontario's community healthcare institutions. This role bridges the gap between academic medical centers and community hospitals, focusing specifically on expanding NDMM treatment capabilities and confidence among community hematologists.

This role transforms traditional KAM account management into evidence-based clinical partnerships, positioning Sarclisa as the clinical leader in Ontario's competitive NDMM market through real-world outcomes and sustainable academic-community collaborations.

Main Responsibilities

Community Institution Growth Strategy - NDMM Focus

Community Growth Initiatives:

  • Access Optimization: Streamline Sarclisa pathways, reduce diagnosis-to-treatment time

  • Clinical Decision Support: Provide real-world evidence and tools for confident NDMM prescribing

  • Peer-to-Peer Learning: Facilitate academic-to-community knowledge transfer

  • Patient Journey Mapping: Optimize NDMM experience from presentation through follow-up

 

NDMM Market Development Focus:

  • Early Diagnosis Initiatives: Systematic approaches to identify NDMM candidates

  • Treatment Sequencing Education: Evidence-based Sarclisa positioning guidance

  • Resource Optimization: Maximize hem-onc resources while expanding NDMM capabilities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Medical on clinical data interpretation and dissemination

  • Identify clinical education programs for hematologists and oncologists

  • Support OLAs

  • Align with Commercial KAMs on account strategy and customer needs

 

Community Integration Strategy

  • Connect Academic & Community Care: Build referral partnerships so community hospitals can easily consult with major cancer centers on complex NDMM cases

  • Shared Care Protocols: Work with medical to help develop standardized approaches that allow community institutions to manage routine NDMM care while maintaining academic center oversight

  • Resource Sharing Initiatives: Identify opportunities for sharing clinical expertise, educational resources, and best practices across the Ontario network

About You

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years sales representative experience in the specialty pharmaceutical industry preferred, or 2+ years experience in specialty marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to achieve superior sales results
  • Leads by example and demonstrates high level of collaboration with internal and external counterparts
  • Effectively develops and executes sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned sales territories
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented approach to selling and ability to articulate value propositions appropriate to each level of contact
  • Exhibits superior persuasion and negotiation skills to win commitment
  • Possess excellent technical aptitude and the ability to conduct disease/concept selling
  • Understanding of local managed markets (public and private) and institutional/community hospital environments
  • Demonstrate superb written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Possess excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines.
  • Be computer literate including the ability to use CRM, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and e-mail software

The salary range for this position is:

$94,700.00 - $136,766.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
