Introduction to role:

Do you feel prepared to build significant collaborations that quicken the delivery of life-changing oncology medicines for patients who need them most? In this role, you will lead strategic engagement across priority accounts in your territory, bringing deep scientific understanding and commercial rigor to every interaction. You will partner closely with cross-functional colleagues and external partners to remove barriers, advise care pathways, and ensure appropriate on-label use of our therapies. Your work will translate ground breaking science into real-world impact—faster decisions, better patient journeys, and sustained growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with your Sales Manager to develop and deliver a focused local business plan. Define clear priorities and focus on high-impact accounts. Optimize call cadence to reach or exceed territory goals.

  • Collaborate with oncology healthcare professionals through confident, compliant dialogue about authorized indications. Share therapeutic benefit and risk information to support appropriate prescribing within labeled indications for eligible patients.

  • Performance Leadership: Improve sales results by accurately forecasting, handling assigned budgets, and proactively course-correcting to surpass healthcare and market zone targets.

  • Market Intelligence: Build and maintain an in-depth view of market dynamics, demographics, access pathways, and the forces crafting managed markets to advise account strategies and anticipate shifts.

  • Training Mastery: Rapidly complete all required training and product examinations to maintain the highest standard of scientific and compliance knowledge.

  • Compliance and Ethics: Consistently uphold all regulations and company policies regarding healthcare professional interactions, sample management, and promotional standards—protecting trust, reputation, and long-term value.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Efficiently complete all training requirements, including product examinations.

  • Engage cancer care specialists in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager in composing a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory

  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets achieve or outperform therapeutic and territory expectations.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and administered markets information relative to assigned sales territory.

  • Align with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Shown key account management experience within oncology or other specialty therapeutics.

  • Successful track record launching or accelerating adoption of innovative medicines in complex access environments.

  • Positive relationships with oncology HCPs, institutions, and integrated delivery networks; ability to navigate pathways, P&T processes, and managed markets customers.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools, data analysis, and territory planning to advise decisions and measure impact.

  • Evidence of exceeding sales targets through focused execution, influence, and collaboration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or business; advanced degree a plus.
