Salary Range: $98,000 - 141,000

Travel: Regular customer‑site visits

As our next Key Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of developing, strengthening, and expanding critical customer relationships to ensure Johnson Electric is the chosen supplier for targeted programs and projects. Your expertise in automotive customer engagement, electro‑mechanical products, sales execution, and value‑based negotiation will be crucial in driving our success and advancing JE’s strategic growth objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Execute product sales strategies and plans through internal collaboration and effective customer relationship management.
• Build deep relationships at customer sites; understand market trends, value drivers, and satisfaction levels.
• Spend significant time at customer locations, engaging at multiple organizational levels and negotiating effectively.
• Apply financial analysis to complex business choices, evaluating short‑ and long‑term impacts.
• Translate Voice of the Customer (VOC) into JE’s technology roadmaps, engineering changes, and new product opportunities.
• Establish and manage DDP (Discovery Driven Planning) program/volume inputs and track changes throughout the year.
• Coordinate CRM activities and plant sales forecast/actuals data for accurate planning and decision‑making.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• 3+ years of automotive industry experience.
• Experience with electro‑mechanical products.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Analytical strength in financial and commercial decision‑making.
• Deep electro‑mechanical aptitude and understanding of complex motion systems.
• Strategic thinking in markets, products, and project opportunities.
• MBA degree.
• Local candidate availability.
