Meaningful Work From Day One

The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing strategies, leading and independently growing Brown-Forman’s business within assigned strategic customers in the Indirect distribution channel.

In addition, the role leads change, fosters teamwork and a winning culture by striving for excellence and managing revenue growth to ensure the strongest possible market position of Brown-Forman brands (while respecting budgetary and legal requirements) and increasing market share.

A key responsibility of the Indirect team member is to act as a guardian of the organizational culture and the Win with Customers program by being an active and collaborative member of the functional team, sales team, assigned cross-functional teams, and the wider organization. This position works closely with and reports to the Indirect Distribution Channel Manager.

The role is based in Warsaw, with a requirement to work from the office 4 days per week.

What You Can Expect

Sales and Strategic Account Management – building, developing and implementing strategic customer management plans to ensure sustainable and profitable growth for both Brown-Forman and dedicated customers, while achieving high levels of customer engagement.

Advanced Negotiations – independently leading commercial negotiations to reach “win-win” agreements with key customers, taking into account Brown-Forman ambitions, brand and commercial objectives, as well as promotional activations and initiatives developed in cooperation with and supported by Marketing, Trade Marketing and Finance.

Strategy Development and Execution – developing and implementing strategies to build the presence of Brown-Forman products in line with the long-term commercial strategy; taking a bold approach to managing assigned channels, including close cooperation with regional teams to achieve sales, profit, distribution and visibility targets.

Execution, Measurement and Financial Management – consistently raising the bar in performance against key KPIs (volume, sales value, achieved profit, visibility, distribution) and actively using and driving revenue growth management practices.

Expert Knowledge – leveraging deep knowledge of customers, categories and the market, as well as available tools and data, to identify opportunities, create value and solutions, set operational goals and make sound business decisions.

Cross-Functional Projects and Collaboration – leading and actively participating in special multidisciplinary project teams to break down silos and encourage both internal and external partnership-oriented collaboration.

What You Bring to the Table

● Very good knowledge of the Polish retail environment, with at least 4–5 years of experience gained in the FMCG industry.

● We are open to talented candidates currently working as Junior Key Account Managers who are looking for an opportunity to take the next step in their development towards a Key Account Manager role.

● Independence, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, with excellent problem-solving skills.

● Experience in contract negotiations with a proven track record of success.

● Strong analytical skills.

● Excellent communication and influencing skills.

● Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.

● Experience in the e-commerce channel and digital customer activations will be an additional advantage.

● Very good command of English (spoken and written) and fluency in Polish.

● Valid driving license (Category B).
