DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Key Account Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to strategic growth and build long-term partnerships with key customers across Academia, Industry, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Diagnostics sectors. You'll translate customer insights into meaningful partnership opportunities while representing our comprehensive portfolio of innovative scientific solutions. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute account strategies that deliver exceptional value to customers while meeting revenue objectives. You'll build professional relationships with decision-makers and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure customer success.

Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive business plans, conducting regular business reviews, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategic initiatives to grow market share and customer loyalty. You'll collaborate across divisions to leverage Thermo Fisher's full capabilities, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers. Through proactive account management and innovative solutions, you'll help customers advance their critical work in making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Masters Degree plus 8 years of experience in strategic account management, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or diagnostic markets
• Preferred Fields of Study: Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Additional relevant certifications in sales, account management, or related areas beneficial
• Demonstrated success in developing and growing key account relationships at executive levels
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex scientific workflows and applications
• Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Demonstrated success working in collaborative organizations
• Proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and business planning capabilities
• Ability to travel 50-75%
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills beneficial
• Experience with consultative selling and complex sales cycles
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic account plans
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze business opportunities
• Experience coordinating teams to deliver customer solutions
