Key Account Manager

About the role

As the Key Account Manager for Belron NZ, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and growing a customer portfolio within the markets we operate to achieve our wider commercial objectives. This is primarily a relationship management role responsible for managing the insurance portfolio ·         of Smith&Smith® insurance accounts.

Location: Our Support Office at 1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060

Hours: 40 hours per week

What we’re looking for

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or relevant role

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Dynamics CRM) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

  • Sound working experience and/or understanding of insurance sector.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

  • Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Effective communication skills which are clear, fluent, concise and appropriate and encourages feedback as appropriate.

  • Produces written communications which are clear, fluent, concise and jargon-free, and are readily understood by intended recipient(s)

  • Able to identify alternative solutions, recognise the impact of those alternatives, and determine solutions, which result in the best outcome.

  • Able to demonstrate awareness of own personal strengths and areas of development, understands the impact of these on others, and takes action to modify own behavior accordingly.
