We are now looking for the right person to fill the opening as Key Account Manager responsible for the South-East region of Belgium & Luxemburg. This position is  home-office based in Belgium.
 

WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?

You will be part of a very skilled Middle Europe Sales organization of approximately 100 people. Alongside 3 other Account managers you will report directly to the Territory Sales Manager for BeLux. This team is covering the Belgium & Luxembourg region in collaboration with other sales functions: End-customer sales, Architect & Engineers, and Sales Engineers. This is rounded off by a regional Marketing, Training & Distribution Team for Benelux. And we are making the difference – together!
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A KAM?

As a Key Account Manager (KAM), it will be your job to head sales with a selected number of key channel partners and at the same time develop new accounts. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of business plans for these partners, and it will be your job to set and evaluate annual targets. You will handle these partners on a daily basis, acting as a professional interface between the partners and Axis.
Other responsibilities include:


Inspire our partners

  • Actively participate in trade shows, webinars and other promotional activities
  •  Work closely with your sales team including other roles within your territory to support, inspire and educate Axis partners
  • Provide the best solutions and ensure a good alignment with our partner eco-system
     

Thrive business

  •  Develop clear business plans for the selected accounts
  • Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up KPI's on these
  • Prepare sales reports with new and existing projects

Create value

  • Visiting your partners to maintain and develop the relationships
  • Collaborate with your partners to increase the Axis reach and presence within your territory
  • Visiting End-Users with the partners
  • Working on marketing activities together with the partners to attract new end-user opportunities
  • Work closely together with the system integrators; to develop the project pipeline and close projects
     

Travel within the Belux territory, the Rotterdam office with the Axis Experience Center and to Axis’ HQ in Sweden will be considered a natural part of the job.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’d love to hear that you have/are...

  • At least 5 years of relevant field sales experience
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within IT & security
  • High technical interest
  • Comfortable with solution selling preferable in the security industry
  • Experience in account management and developing accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Speaking your languages: native in French and fluent in English, Dutch/Flemish is a plus

Experience from working with an indirect sales-model from a similar role within security is a plus. However, the greatest importance will be attached to your personality, attitude and mindset.
