Key Account Executive – Energy

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Jotun Egypt is looking for a talented Key Account Executive to the our Performance Coatings department in the Energy sector.

In this role you will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing business relationships with key customers within the energy sector, particularly in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and power generation industries.
The role focuses on providing technical coating solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales growth through strategic account management and technical support.

This position will report to the Sales Manager - Energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers in the energy sector, including end-users, EPCs, and fabricators.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across oil & gas, petrochemical, and power industries.

  • Provide technical and commercial coating solutions aligned with project requirements and support specifications and approvals.

  • Deliver agreed sales targets, margins, and market share growth while preparing forecasts and sales reports.

  • Coordinate with internal technical and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, project support, and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct customer presentations, site visits, and training, while monitoring market trends, competitors, and customer feedback and ensuring HSE and ethical compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

Qualifications we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or Science.

  • 4 + years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in protective coatings, paints, or industrial products for the energy or oil & gas sector.

  • NACE / FROSIO coating inspector certifications is a plus.

  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English & Arabic.
