Junior Software Developer

Job Description:

Xchanging Italy, part of DXC Technology group, is looking for a junior software developer who will work in an innovative, dynamic, motivated and collaborative context to ensure the highest standard of delivery.

The software developer will work in Software Factory department that manages the new innovative platform for financial services.

He/she will be involved in project activities commissioned by customers, ordinary change request and developments related to regulatory compliance

Key Activities:

  • Designing, developing and testing application according to the users’ specifications;

  • Working closely with analysts, designers and staff to determine the best software implementation;

  • Documenting application in detail to help those responsible for future maintenance;

  • Maintaining the application with updates and fixes as necessary;

  • Recommending software upgrades for existing applications;

  • Collaborating with developers and other engineers to create software;

  • Presenting ideas for application improvements or innovations;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in information engineering, computer science, math, physic.

  • knowledge of Java, HTML, HTML 5, CSS, Java script 

  • Good knowledge of English (both oral and written)
