Key Duties of Security Monitoring Operator
Handle basic security monitoring tasks and simple analyses, with support from more experienced teammates.
Talk to customers and follow the usual communication guidelines.
Get to know ESET XDR tools and the internal systems we use.
Join threat‑hunting activities, follow given steps, and note down your findings.
Help prepare reports based on instructions from senior colleagues.
Keep learning new things and stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Jump in on other tasks your manager needs help with as part of the team’s daily work.
Our requirements
Full‑time university student in Information Security or another IT‑related field
Completed Bachelor’s degree in an IT field is an advantage
Fundamental understanding of Windows/Linux systems and their inner workings.
Knowledge of computer networks (IP address, ports, protocols, MAC address, etc.)
Strong interest in learning new things in the field of cybersecurity
Responsibility and ability to work independently
Analytical mindset with acute attention to detail.
Willingness to cover mainly evening, night, and weekend shifts
Compensation: from 9€/hour
