Junior Security Engineer

SGP - SINGAPORE Full time

Job Description:

We are hiring a Junior Security Operations Engineer to provide day‑to‑day operational security support in an onsite SOC environment. This is an entry‑level role with hands‑on exposure to enterprise security tools and incident handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and triage security alerts using Splunk SIEM

  • Provide operational support for:

    • Tenable security scanner

    • Antivirus and endpoint security tools

    • Carbon Black (EDR)

    • HSM and encryption software

  • Support investigation and escalation of security incidents

  • Perform routine security operations (log monitoring, health checks, vulnerability scans)

  • Maintain incident records and operational documentation

  • Work closely with senior analysts and IT teams

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field

  • Basic knowledge of security operations and incident response

  • Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning tools

  • Understanding of Windows/Linux and basic networking concepts

  • Willing to work onsite and support operational shifts if required

  • Open to fresh grad.

Preferred

  • Exposure to Splunk, Tenable, Carbon Black, HSM, encryption solutions

  • Entry‑level security certifications (e.g. Security+, SC‑900)

  • SOC, IT operations, or security internship experience
