About the role
As our Direct Junior Operations Manager, you will be playing a key role in constantly improving our store operations and processes, as well as driving awareness and shopper engagement for Dyson’s direct retail channels. You will be crafting and executing optimization strategies to elevate our presence, entice consumers into our stores, and deliver exceptional in-store experiences.
You will be:
- Work closely with the Retail Manager to drive the Direct Retail P&L, supporting in the grow of profitability targets.
- Support the management of high-performing Dyson Direct Teams to ensure a “Consumer/Owner First” mindset, working closely with the Retail Manager.
- Support the Retail Manager and location leads, drive Dyson’s ambitious expansion plans into Direct Retail and support develop the vision for Dyson Direct Demo Stores and Mall Demo Zones.
- Manage the annual and quarterly media briefing and planning for the direct retail channel, running always-on campaigns, testing innovative formats, and delivering performance reports.
- Collaborating with local business partners to co-create and deliver efficient and impactful ways of working incl. stock allocation, marketing campaigns, aligned to our Marketing Teams strategy.
- Plan and execute unforgettable store events, creating annual event calendars, generating fresh ideas, and bringing these to life in partnership with Store Managers. Key trading moments per Location.
- Localize and adapt campaigns to align with store-specific nuances, in close collaboration with the Commercial team and Austrian Management team.
- Support design an a influencer strategy for direct retail, collaborating with our Marketing and Comms team, organizing influencer store visits, and scaling these initiatives to enhance our brand narrative.
- Manage the direct retail purchase order process, ensuring the Direct Stores have the tools they need to succeed.
- Continuously analysing the effectiveness of our awareness activities, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes to maximize impact.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, both nationally and internationally, to influence and shape our direct retail marketing agenda.
- Managing budgets with precision – balancing high-quality executions with cost efficiency, generating purchase orders, and contributing to the financial rigor of the team.
- Supporting weekly and monthly performance reporting, ensuring valuable insights inform future decision-making.
