The Team:
We are seeking a motivated Release and AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our software development and operations group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software products while integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into our release processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in build automation, continuous integration, release management, and AI-driven workflows while working on exciting projects that make a real-world impact.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain automated build and release pipelines enhanced with AI-driven insights.
  • Configure and manage build tools, version control systems, and artifact repositories.
  • Integrate AI and Generative AI tools to optimize release orchestration, predict deployment risks, and automate rollback strategies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment processes to ensure smooth and reliable software releases, leveraging AI for anomaly detection and automated log analysis.
  • Implement and improve CI/CD best practices to enhance development productivity and product quality.
  • Work closely with QA and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows, incorporating AI-driven validation and testing methodologies to minimize downtime.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions for deployment automation and agentic workflows.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in both DevOps and AI to continuously improve our build and release practices.
  • Establish release standards for AI-enabled applications, including version control, model packaging, artifact management, environment promotion, and change validation.
    Monitor deployment health, model behavior, and system performance; troubleshoot release failures, model issues, and production incidents quickly and systematically.
    Partner with product, security, compliance, and platform teams to ensure releases and AI systems meet reliability, governance, and business requirements.
    Drive continuous improvement by reducing manual release steps, improving observability, and increasing automation across software and AI delivery workflows.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python (highly preferred for AI integration), Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Fundamental understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, with experience integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LLMs) into software workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting and automation to streamline build processes and enhance release management efficiency.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and optimize build and release automation scripts is essential for maintaining a robust and reliable software delivery pipeline.
  • Proficiency in implementing and maintaining automated build and release pipelines is highly valued.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce and AI-driven Salesforce tools (e.g., Agentforce) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies, including AI-assisted testing and validation.
  • Experience with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) or AI coding/automation assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
  • Certifications in DevOps, AI/ML, or related areas would be advantageous.

Location: Hybrid setting, 2 days onsite on our Santa Fe, Mexico City site.

NOTE: As part of the process an onsite interview in our office in Mexico City is required.
