The Web team is looking for a motivated Junior React Engineer to help build and enhance the Next.js frontend of Forcepoint.com, a global, multilingual marketing platform. This role is ideal for someone who has strong foundational React skills, loves solving problems, and wants to grow into a high-impact engineer within a fast-moving, design-forward, data-driven environment.
A successful Junior React Engineer brings curiosity, discipline, and a strong willingness to learn modern frontend patterns. You are comfortable working with React components, enjoy translating designs into clean UI, and want to deepen your experience with performance, accessibility, and large-scale web applications. You care about users, think critically about the details, and want to contribute to a site that reaches millions of visitors annually.

Responsibilities Include
Build and maintain reusable React components and UI features within our Next.js frontend.
Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into responsive, accessible, performant interfaces.
Implement styling using SCSS, CSS modules, or styled libraries.
Work closely with senior engineers to understand and follow architectural patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and backend engineers to implement new functionality.
Write clean, well-structured code.
Assist in optimizing performance metrics (LCP, INP, CLS) and understanding frontend performance fundamentals.
Support A/B testing and experiment setup using VWO.
Assist with bug fixing, debugging, QA, and frontend maintenance tasks.
Required Technical Skills
Strong foundational knowledge of React and JavaScript (ES6+)
Familiarity with Next.js or similar frameworks
Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive layouts, and modern styling approaches
Basic understanding of API consumption (GraphQL or REST)
Experience with Git and collaborative version control
Understanding of accessibility principles and performance basics
Nice to Have Skills
Tailwind
Experience with component libraries or design systems
Vercel or similar hosting platforms
A/B testing tools (VWO)
Figma or UI prototyping tools
Basic DevOps concepts or CI/CD familiarity
Experience working on multilingual or large-scale websites
Qualified Candidates Should Have
2–3+ years of professional experience with React
Portfolio or GitHub showing real projects, components, or contributions
Ability to follow patterns, learn quickly, and apply feedback
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for improving user experience and building great interfaces
Positive attitude, organized work habits, and eagerness to grow
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience
Strong communication, prioritization, and time-management skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or related field
