The Junior Project Manager supports and/or leads cross-functional projects by gathering requirements, analyzing data, and documenting processes to drive continuous improvement. The role works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify process gaps, and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and customer outcomes.
This position is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives aligned with business unit goals and strategic priorities. The role also contributes to data analysis, reporting, and process optimization using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and project management tools.
Accountabilities:
- Support and/or lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery of outputs.
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, understand processes, and challenge assumptions by asking critical “why” questions.
- Identify root causes of business problems through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and process reviews.
- Analyze process performance, identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to recommend and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Utilize tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to analyze data and visualize insights.
- Create and maintain project documentation including project charters, timelines, process maps, trackers, risk logs, and status reports.
- Build and manage project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS) and schedules, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, document action items, track progress, and follow up with stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues, working with leadership to drive resolution.
- Ensure compliance with GTM, regulatory, and SOX requirements.
- Stay updated on project management and continuous improvement best practices and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder.
- 0–3 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or project coordination.
- Availability to work US hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM ET).
- Experience supporting or working with technology-based solutions (preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a matrix organization and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to question processes and drive clarity.
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and deliver within deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Visio, Power BI, Tableau, or project management tools is an advantage.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
- Must be in current role for 1 year.
- Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
- Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 months
