The opportunity
As GCB (Generator Circuit Breaker) Project Controller, you will be a part of a small and lean Business Controlling team as well as a part of PGHV pool of financial controllers. You will support project managers with financial and commercial aspects of the projects across the full project lifecycle. This role offers hands-on exposure to project controlling in a global environment, with opportunities to drive transparency, improve processes, and contribute to digitalization initiatives.
How you’ll make an impact
Support project controlling activities across the full project lifecycle, from initiation to close-out for small-medium size projects.
Perform project reviews in close cooperation with project managers
Build and enhance reports and dashboards to analyze project and financial performance
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Execute and document SOX controls in line with internal guidelines
Act as backup for other team members’ activities, ensuring continuity of operations
Support internal and external audits
Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Management accounting, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in Controlling, preferably in a project or industrial environment
IFRS knowledge for revenue recognition, project costs and provision's part
A curious and proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently, challenge the status quo, and propose and implement improvements
Strong interest in process digitalization and automation; experience with macros, basic coding, or IT tools is an advantage
Solid knowledge of SAP, Excel, and business analytics tools is a plus
Experience working in a global or international environment
Fluent in English, German is a plus.
