As a Junior Planning Data Analyst, you will support the global Planning team by strengthening data accuracy, structure, and analytical insight across planning processes. You will manage planning data and reporting, build automated dashboards, and support forecasting and inventory optimization initiatives in close collaboration with planners, merchandisers, supply chain, and data teams. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making and improving planning performance across the business. Your work will have a direct strategic impact on planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and growth, offering strong opportunities for development within a collaborative and high-impact environment.
What You Will Do
Manage key planning data sources, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems to support reliable planning decisions.
Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports (Excel, Looker) to track core KPIs including sales, sell-through, WOC, in-stock %, and forecast accuracy.
Deliver clean, timely data and visual insights to support weekly trade and planning meetings, enabling informed decision-making.
Analyze planning, sales, and inventory data to support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and ad-hoc business requests.
Identify and resolve data gaps or inconsistencies by building routines and controls that improve data reliability and governance.
Optimize and automate Excel-based planning tools and manual processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Tech/Data teams to integrate new data sources and improve planning workflows.
Standardize and simplify planning files and processes across functions to support consistent execution and performance measurement.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (required).
1–2 years of experience in a data or business analyst role, preferably within retail, fashion, or consumer goods.
Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, automation) and SQL; experience with Looker or Power BI for reporting and visualization.
Solid understanding of merchandising, planning, and retail or supply chain KPIs (sales, inventory, sell-through, WOC, forecast accuracy).
Experience with forecasting tools, statistical modeling, or analytics languages (Python, R, advanced Excel) is a strong plus; AI/ML forecasting knowledge is an advantage.
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong ownership of data accuracy and quality.
Able to translate complex datasets into clear, business-friendly insights for diverse stakeholders.
