Job Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Junior Planner/Scheduler will coordinate, plan, schedule and assist maintenance with tasks and work orders to optimize equipment uptime.

Job Responsibilities
Assist in preparing maintenance work orders for scheduled and emergency maintenance activities
Coordinate required resources (labor, tools, and parts) for efficient job execution
Ensure all parts are available to perform the jobs
Maintain ongoing library of drawings, sketches, pictures and catalogues of parts.
Assist in maintaining and building equipment records, bills of materials, and asset data in the CMMS
Create, schedule, and close preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in the CMMS
Follow up with mechanics and contractors to ensure maintenance, project, and work order requirements are completed
Review jobs to determine labor, parts and priority as well to ensure safety is a priority at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
1- 2 years of planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience using a CMMS, specifically Maximo, is considered an asset
Excellent attention to detail and communication (written, verbal, and presentational)
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
