The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.

About the Role
  • Running performance and load tests for one or more features in Veeam products
  • Performance bug hunting, identifying bottlenecks, participating in analyzing test results
  • Creating and monitoring testing infrastructure, including deploying virtual machines, configuring product and OS components, operating databases, and dealing with technical issues
  • Participating in performance tests and environment deployment processes automation
  • “Deep diving” into our products, technologies, and profession
What You’ll Do
  • A technical education or a passion for technology. Students in their final years of study will be considered
  • Good knowledge of Windows or Linux OS; a solid understanding of major subsystem components such as CPU, Disk, RAM, network, etc
  • A lively and flexible mind, clear logic
  • The desire to develop yourself in the field of performance and load testing
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–2 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: system administration, technical support T3, manual testing or test automation
  • Experience in analyzing software performance and using tools to monitor it
  • Experience in installing and operating databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Skills in a multi-component software troubleshooting: reading logs, analyzing interactions between components, identifying patterns
  • Experience in working with virtualization systems
  • Experience in working with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
