Junior Payroll Specialist - Cracow, Poland

Job Description:

About the Position:

The Junior Payroll Specialist will primarily be responsible for payroll processing.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Processing the monthly payroll with third party vendor ensuring accuracy and timelines.

  • Should be well versed with monthly quarterly, and annual payroll compliances.

  • Independently coordinate and communicate with all internal groups, HR team, hiring managers, and external parties as required.

  • Assure that all employees receive timely responses to inquiries, questions, etc. and be single point of contact to employees/ other teams.

  • Compile payroll data for management, auditors, and others.

  • Handling day-to-day Accounting and maintaining all records like Vouchers, Receipts, Bills, and Payments as assigned.

  • Support in maintaining other compliances such as taxes including returns filings.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and above in business related field (HR, Admin)

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years relevant experience in payroll and accounting in Poland.

  • Must have prior experience of working with payroll systems including third party systems.

  • Must have Microsoft Excel working knowledge.

  • Familiarity and experience with finance and reporting systems.

  • Ability to foresee risks, be proactive and predictive.

  • Excellent active listening, coordination, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build impactful relationships with both domestic and overseas teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience with Workday

  • Preferred experience with ADP Celergo

  • Preferred experience with NetSuite accounting system

  • Payroll Experience in Poland, Bulgaria & Austria

Minimum salary: 7,083 PLN gross/month
