Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

As a Partner Marketing Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of retailer-specific marketing activity across both online and offline channels. You will build strategic, insight-driven partner plans that enhance visibility, strengthen brand preference and drive sell-out performance. You will create a culture of collaboration and innovation with your assigned retail account, while ensuring that they are held to account for all planned activity.

Partner Planning & Activation

  • Develop cohesive marketing plans with key retail partners, ensuring alignment to commercial priorities, the HEA divisional priorities, or product-level priorities.

  • Create through-the-line (TTL) activation plans for new product launches and in-life campaigns (inc. promotional roadmap), delivering against sales, share, and growth targets.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of retailer marketing activity, ensuring campaigns land on time, on budget, and at the highest executional standard.

  • Lead the creation and execution of innovative marketing/retail media campaigns across partner accounts, including ATL, Digital advertising, in-store activations, and onsite display media (Retailer sites). 

  • Brief and manage agencies to create or adapt marketing assets that communicate Samsung brand messages, product benefits and promotional offers. Ensure all creative is on-brand, retailer-appropriate, and optimised for each channel.

  • Ensure continuous review of customer journey across retailer channels, including BAU onsite placements, buying guides, FAQs etc.

  • Accountable for the online performance of assigned retail partners. Ensure that key performance metrics (Traffic, Conversion, CTR etc.) are performing in line with expectations. Conduct regular reviews, provide recommendation and implement enhancements to the customer journey where required.

Performance, Measurement & Budget

  • Track execution, results, and learnings of all partner activity, sharing insight across the wider partner marketing function to improve overall effectiveness.

  • Support planning and management of retailer marketing budgets to maximise return on investment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Retail Marketing, Field, and Commercial teams to ensure strong alignment from online through to in-store execution. Maintain close alignment with Brand team on creative and messaging.

  • Build meaningful relationships with relevant retailer stakeholders. Leverage these relationships to ensure close collaboration and alignment, ensuring that Samsung are front-of-mind for new and innovative opportunities. 

  • Ensure effective collection, sharing, and distribution of marketing information with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leans in to support other team members and retail accounts when needed.

Hard Skills

  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field.

  • Experience in retail, consumer electronics or FMCG is advantageous

  • Product and/or services marketing experience preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confident use of PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data to create insight-driven recommendations.

  • Experience managing or supporting marketing budgets.
