Camping World is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join our IT team. The Junior NOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting our Network/Server/Application infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. This includes ITSM roles of Problem, Incident, and some Change Management experience. This role requires proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Monitor Network/Server/Application performance and system alerts to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Perform regular system health checks, including reviewing logs and system alerts.
Troubleshoot and resolve network and system incidents, escalating issues to higher-level support when necessary.
Document incidents, issues, and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless network operations.
Participate in the development and implementation of network policies and procedures.
Provide technical support to users and other stakeholders as needed.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance network performance.
Intermediate understanding of PC computers, networks, and communications
Ability to use Microsoft Office desktop tools and perform routine file system maintenance within the Windows environment
Strong interpersonal skills - including the use of written, electronic, and oral communication
Execute system jobs based on the IT Operations daily schedule
Monitor job, server, and program status, providing simple troubleshooting within guidelines and contacting other team members for next level support
Provide Help Desk call and issue tracking for all issues, providing simple Help Desk support during times when the help desk is not occupied
Working as part of the IT Applications, Development, and Operations team to solve problems for and provide necessary services to other departments and field personnel
Assist development teams with schedule optimization and recommend improvements as needed
Provide first level support for company Point of Sale systems
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need to Have for the Role:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1-5 years of experience in network monitoring, network support, or a similar role within an IT environment.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, OpManager, Splunk).
Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent issues promptly and effectively.
Ability to work in a shift-based environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
May require on-call availability for critical incidents.
Able to provide support over the phone to users
Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring systems and responding to incidents.
May require occasional lifting of equipment and devices.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
CompTIA Network+, Server +, A+, Cloud+
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Microsoft Windows Server
ITIL V3,V4 Foundational

Pay Range:
