About the role

As a Junior Linux system Administrator - 24/7 shifts you’ll support the design, deployment, migration, and ongoing management of critical infrastructure and end-user services across a broad landscape of modern technologies. From servers, storage, mainframe, and networks to AD, SAP Basis, public/private cloud platforms, datacenter technologies, containers, middleware, databases, Modern Device Management, Intelligent Collaboration, IT Asset Management, Field Services, and our Technical Service Desk—your work will help ensure seamless, secure, and efficient operations 24/7.

Daily challenges

  • Providing technical support in infrastructure services, responding to issues and assisting in tasks.

  • Contributing to infrastructure projects and tasks under supervision.

  • Participating in the monitoring and basic troubleshooting of infrastructure systems.

  • Collaborating with the team and applying problem-solving abilities to address infrastructure-related challenges and meet departmental needs.

  • Supporting the development of infrastructure documentation, including incident logs and records.

  • Following established best practices and standards in infrastructure service delivery.

eXperience and skills required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Typically, 2+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis.

  • Proficiencies in data analysis and problem-solving.

  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.

  • An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus

  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCENT, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus
