We have an opportunity for a Junior IT EUC Engineer to join their team of staff in the Group IT department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • Support the delivery of a reliable and secure End User Computing (EUC) service across the organisation.
  • Provide remote and desk-side support for end-user devices, resolving incidents and service requests.
  • Assist with device builds, deployments, replacements and upgrades in line with EUC standards.
  • Support joiner, mover and leaver processes, including device preparation and logistics.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset and licence records, ensuring data quality and compliance.
  • Assist with swap stock management, device collections, and secure hardware disposal.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and document all activity in the service management system.
  • Contribute to EUC projects, service improvements and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with IT colleagues and site teams, maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Educated to HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in IT, Computing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in an IT support or EUC-focused role
  • Microsoft fundamentals-level knowledge or certification (e.g. Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals), or equivalent working knowledge of Microsoft end-user technologies
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in IT (e.g. vendor training, certifications in progress, or structured workplace learning)
  • Experience working in an IT support or End User Computing environment (e.g. Service Desk, Desktop Support, Field/Site Support, or EUC/Workplace Technology/Device Support teams)
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows-based end-user devices (e.g. desktops, laptops, or mobile devices)
  • Experience providing remote and/or desk-side user support with a customer-focused approach
  • Practical experience maintaining accurate records (e.g. tickets, asset records, and documentation)
  • Microsoft certifications at associate level (or in progress) (e.g. Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate; Modern Desktop Administrator MD-102 or legacy equivalents) desirable
  • ITIL® Foundation (or working knowledge of ITIL principles) desirable but not essential
