We are looking to appoint a Junior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our Warehousing FP&A Team. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, you will need a strong systems background, along with being highly effective working with cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships with operating and functional leaders across the network. This is a role joining a growing team and is suitable for someone eager to progress and take on more responsibilities.
Working hours:
Monday – Friday 08:00-16:30 (Flexible based on 37.5 hours per week and hybrid working options)

You will need to:
Have exemplary analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative), including the ability to solve practical problems and analyse processes for improvement.
Hold strong Excel (must have!) and Power BI skills
Have strong communication and influencing skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative, hit deadlines and not be afraid to ask for help when needed.

Responsibilities:
Provide analysis covering all areas of P&L and key performance metrics.
Assist in preparation of business plans and forecasts.
Track of plans and performance against budgets and forecasts.
Develop strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect with operating leaders, providing a robust link between the operations and finance.
Drive financial results via data analysis, including key trends, variance analysis and development of financial models for decision support.
Produce weekly KPI reporting as well as analysis of the figures.
Produce accurate financial information to various stakeholders across the business.
Willingness to travel where necessary.
Additional duties as required.

Preferably possess a range of communication and influencing styles that can be deployed with stakeholders and senior members of the Leadership Team to drive performance and delivery of plans within budget.

Demonstrate an inquisitive approach, an eye for detail and solid financial modelling skills, evolving in line with business and external requirements.
